Megaworld Corporation, one of the world’s largest construction and civil works companies, has partnered with the Villar Mir Group from Spain to carry out the construction of the fifth of the Five Towers skyscrapers in the north of Madrid.
Megaworld has been recognized several times with the BID International Quality Award for its quality and excellence in multiple and innovative construction projects all over the world.
The fifth tower, a distinctive skyscraper in Madrid, constitutes a monumental project at the heart of the financial district with more than 70,000 square meters of construction spanning 160 meters and 36 floors.
The Madrid iconic “Cuatro Torres” (Four Towers) will soon inaugurate this fifth member, expanding the financial and business capacities of the city, as well as transforming its landscape.
Officially named Caleido, this new tower promises to offer a “sustainable area with Gold level LED illumination”, a large underground parking area, green areas at ground level, and the latest innovations in sustainability and efficiency.
Megaworld, is crowned once again for this endeavour, has been a prime example among the companies and organizations recognized by BID throughout the past 37 years.
Caleido, the fifth tower that already crowns the Madrid skyline, is receiving the finishing touches and will be inaugurated at the end of the year 2021. It was created as a project in 2017 which will now house one of the IE University campuses, a sports medicine center headed by Quirón, as well as leisure and catering services or shopping areas.
